Message for all BOBA Members.
Your Approval is Requested.
Currently BOBA is spending between £700 - £900 every year producing and mailing your Echoes to you. A cost that could be considerably reduced if we took advantage of today's technology, by sending the Echoes to you electronically, as a .pdf attachment to an email.
Therefore we request every BOBA member with an email address to help us by sending an email to Derek, our membership secretary by clicking on the link below to a). Update your email address, and b). to let us know whether or not you would be prepared to accept the Echoes by this method.
Please remember that there is no pressure to accept the proposal, and printed copies will still be sent to those that prefer the hard copy.
NOTICE
1. As of today, Wednesday 17th June 2009, I ceased to be the Membership Secretary of BOBA. My successor Derek Fox 58B group, can be contacted at: derek.fox@homecall.co.uk . All queries regarding BOBA should now be directed to him.
I have enjoyed the last five years as Mem Sec. but felt that due to other circumstances, the time was right for me to hand over.
A big thank you to all the friends I've made during this time.
2. Also, with effect from Tuesday 23rd June 2009, I handed over the job of webmaster for both the AC College, and the BOBA sites, to Brian Henderson 65A group. Please give him the help and support you have given to me over the last 3 years.
